Not Just Lighting – We’re Audio Too!

Okay, let’s clear something up — yes, we’re called mjb lighting, but no, we don’t just do lighting.

We’re also deep in the world of audio, and we’ve been quietly (or loudly, depending on the gig) handling audio design/setups/operates across a bunch of awesome events lately.

There was even a brief moment — and I mean very brief — where I considered changing the name to mjb productions to better reflect the whole picture. But in the end, I stuck with mjb lighting. The name’s got history, it’s what people know us for, and hey — it still sounds pretty cool. Plus, changing logos is a whole thing.

Audio’s been getting a real workout lately, especially during our recent run on the Australian Monster Truck tour. That’s right — we were out there making sure every rev, roar, and announcer moment was crystal clear (and suitably earth-shaking). It was loud. It was wild. And yep, it was us on the audio console.

So, if you start seeing more audio showreels popping up on our socials and website, that’s why! We’re super excited to showcase more of that side of what we do over the next few months.
